Mr. Zewdu Kebede, Deputy Head of Office of the Addis Ababa City Communications Bureau, explained that during the rainy season he oversaw the planning and implementation of a wide range of citywide and nationwide public mobilizations, development projects, volunteer activities, and large government-backed development initiatives. From leadership and organized, well-coordinated strategic planning to preparing implementation plans, setting agendas and messages, distributing information, and communicating with the public, he said the bureau created national consensus and effectively fulfilled its supervisory role.
In the first quarter of the fiscal year, reports submitted by the city's departments from the center to the districts indicated that effective work was carried out by further strengthening and modernizing the internal and external institutional and coordination systems, including the activities of the preparatory group, leading the city's comprehensive activities in an organized and transparent manner, and satisfying the public's information needs.
